Student VoiceOur students are provided with many opportunities to develop their leadership skills during their time at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Primary School Auburn South. This begins when our Year 5/6 students welcome our Kindergarten students by pairing up as their buddies to help them settle into ‘big’ school.

All of our Year 6 students become school leaders; they are admired by our younger students and it is their responsibility to show all of the other students how to create a difference within our school community. Students in Years 3–6 are chosen by their peers to represent the class on the Student Representative Council.

All of our students are challenged to create and reach their own personal learning goals within the classroom enabling them to be self-motivated, reflective learners.
