Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.

At St Joseph the Worker Catholic Primary School Auburn South, our students grow in faith through a vibrant Sacramental and liturgical life. Children continue their Sacramental journey through the parish of St Peter Chanel and St Joseph the Worker, supported by their families, teachers, and parish community.
Our parish priest, Fr Josh Michels, plays an active and valued role in the spiritual life of our school. Students regularly attend Mass and Adoration with Fr Josh at St Raymond’s Church, deepening their understanding of prayer, worship, and the presence of Christ. Fr Josh also visits classrooms, engages with students in their learning, and is a frequent and welcome presence in our school community.
We are blessed to maintain close ties with St Raymond’s Maronite Parish, enriching our students’ experience of the wider Catholic tradition and celebrating the diversity within our community.
Through these strong parish partnerships, our students are supported to grow in faith, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and live out the Gospel values in their daily lives.
