Through the Family and Faith program, parents – as the first educators of their children – are invited into a deeper and more intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.
The Family Educator at St Joseph the Worker Catholic Primary School Auburn South nurtures strong meaningful parent/school/parish relationships as well as supporting the spiritual, social and educational formation of families.
We have a number of initiatives for families to connect and enhance their relationships and faith. At weekly playgroup families can join in art and craft, music and story-time. Through classroom SPaRs (Stop, Pray and Reflect) you can join your child in the classroom to pray together bringing spirituality to your every day. For parents and carers there are free half day and full day retreats focusing on spirituality, listening to guest speakers and providing opportunities to participate in community outreach programs.
